Semester Two classes begin on Friday, February 3. Starting the new semester means starting new classes and a fresh start all around. Students received updated timetables last week, so everyone knows what classes they have in the new semester. Our guidance staff is ready to assist any students who have decided to change their timetables . . . but they will only be able to make requested changes if there is room in the classes students want to add. Semester One final reports will be given to our students during Period 4 on Thursday, February 9.
Final evaluations for all semester one courses will take place from Thursday, January 26 until Wednesday, February 1. All period 1 classes will complete their final evaluations on Thursday, Jan. 26 starting at 9:00 am. All period 2 classes will complete their final evaluations on Friday, Jan. 27 starting at 9:00 am. All period 3 classes will complete their final evaluations on Monday, Jan. 30 starting at 9:00 am. All period 4 classes will complete their final evaluations on Tuesday, Jan. 31 starting at 9:00 am. If one of those days is a snow day, then those finals will be written on the following day and the whole schedule will be pushed into Wednesday, February 1. All students in all classes in all grades are required to attend their final evaluations on these dates. All students are responsible to know when each final evaluation is being completed and to be in their classes ready to go before 9:00 am. Students will be required to stay in each final evaluation for a minimum of one hour and they will not be allowed to be in the halls after their evaluation on each day in order not to disturb other classes. Students with spare periods are not required to be here on that day, but they are encouraged to come for extra help with their teachers. Teachers will be available each afternoon to help students who have questions or who need help preparing for finals. On all of these days, buses will run at the usual times and our cafeteria will be closed. Please note that Thursday, February 2 is a PD Day and semester two classes begin on Friday, February 3.
